A lot of people are on facebook. In my class everyone is on facebook except for one girl. We even have a group for our class (how weird is that discussting schoolstuff on facebook!?)! But that's not the weirdest thing.
You all know those people who are always online right? The people with the smartphones and the internet flat. They go online when they're taking the subway or the bus because in the subway your cell often doesn't work. But those are just the ones who are always online. That doesn't mean they really are online. Confusing?! Yes! I know 'cause I have an iPhone and when I got it I also got an internet flat so means when I was taking the train and my friends and I got bored and I just wanted too check something on facebook  I went online and checked out what I wanted to check out like some ridiculous picture of some really stupid kids with who I am friends with on facebook just because of I don't know why…? Then I close the app and do not log myself out because really if I would have to go online evrytime I want to check out something I wouldn't loose much time but I'm lazy so I stay online.
Now I put my phone back into my bag and totally forget about facebook 'till something reminds me of it again. 

But then there are the socialites on facebook, the real socialites. Those with the 500-900 friends. Facebook friends to be exact. (Is there actually a better name for these friends something short like ffs?) And you know what a guy I know actually said he knows all of his 480 and something facebook friends. How can you know so many people as friends?
 The girls who are in this facebook category usually have these great pictures where they absolutelly look stunning (btw often black and white so they look even better) kissing their bff on the chieks. Or those other pictures you can see all over facebook mostly on the profiles of 12-18 year olds with  girls dancing… And on these pictures these girls have also written lyrics from songs who are at that time to find in the mainstream session or not completed sentences like "having the best day…", "happiness", "dreams come true" or some cheap happy Valentin's day card quote.
 Really and this is my opinion but I think everyone who has invested a little bit of time in photography and art should know that a picture isn't a good picture if you have to write down what you want to say with that picture because that's what pictures are for.
 If a three year old kid and a teenager see the same picture of two girls laughing then they both know what this picture is about. Or let's take an italian girl and an american girl. They both speak only their mother tongue and could read a poem by Heinrich Heine ( a german poet and writer) and wouldn't understand a word. But if they both would look at a photo by Karl Lagerfeld they'd both know what it's about (unless they're blind but then we could try this experiment with music).
Actually facebook is full of ridiculous people who pretend to love to take pictures and photography but know exactly that much as a monkey. Cause give a monkey a camera and show it where to click and it'll take a picture. And if monkeys could write they'd do exactly what all those girls do on facebook. Writing  on their pictures with photoshop what the picture has to say.

I'm watching Sex and the City now and can you believe that series is so old? I mean the quality of the video is definitely not HD!

 Just kidding I know sometimes I come up with my nerdy thechny knowledge. Okay not really knowledge but you know what I am referring to. The stuff nerdy kids like me talk about and bore their friends with. But what is really fascinating is what the girls at SATC are wearing. That 90s stuff?! The man like jackets in beige… Lots of women had big hair with lots of curls. Now no one has such hair because it's out… You can trust me I know what I'm talking/writing about. I have a lot of hair and it took me time to figure out that combing my hair with a hairbrush is no sense. If you have a lot of hair and curls the best way to get your hair looking good is wash it and go to bed when it's still wet/damp.

by the time you wake up in the morning your hair is curly and beautiful. At least that's my hair when I give it that treatment. It's simple and one of my best ideas.

But forget about my hair or don't whatever you like best. 

Let's talk about that episode I just have seen. That SATC episode! Season 1 episode 2 to be exact so you can look it up. It's that episode about man just dating models. They (Carrie, Stanford and Samantha) are at a fashion show and Carrie wears that black dress. It's an ordinary black dress but the jewelry is what has cached my eye. That long necklace? It isn't  really a necklace it's more like a string made out of  metal or silver. Very long (I bet about a meter and something long)… 

Let There Be Light

The picture doesn't really show how long it is but it gives you an idea how it looks. For seeing the whole outfit watch the episode. I already have looked all over the internet for a better picture. No way to find one. That kind of jewelry I haven't seen on anybody for years. It's like it has disappeared. Being on vacation somewhere but not the planet earth.  Do you think that that stuff will come back? What people wore in the 90s? It didn't always look pretty! The 60s were so much better! In the 90s women didn't always wear a bra… at least that's how it is in the series! Or do you think that someday we will walk around in dresses and skirts like in 1861? Or 1743? With a corset? I don't know but I'm curious what the future will bring for fashion.

 I actually feel a little bit like Carrie right now. Writing on my computer something very similar to a column.  

I am soo pleased that my internship has finally started. I have been looking forward to this day since my application. The internship is at an architecture office. Today has been my first day and I feel so exhausted. The thing I'm most afeard of is to answer the phone. It's terrible! But I'll have to through it I guess. It's only 2 weeks and I won't be having any classes so what do I have to complain about?

It's been a while since my last post. I have been busy with doing my shortmovie. It's actually a school project that I'm doing with two girls (one my friend one not so my friend). I've posted this two pictures because I may dye my hair red! Crazy? I know! In the picture above the girl has almost orange hair. I think I'd like it a little bit more like Tavi's wearing it. But I still have no idea if it would suit me. I have really dark hair and really dark eyebrowns. If I'd dye my hair red I wouldn't dye my eyebrowns too, would I? I actually have no idea 'cause I haven't done it before. First of course I should have my hair chutted. A friend told me it starts to look like when I was 13 and belive me that's no compliment! So I'll call my hairdresser today or tomorrow. I still have to do so much but I should call him before next week. That's when my internship at an architecture office starts!

summer that freaking word

Sometimes I'm in the mood to draw something, to play the piano/ guitar or to write something. To day it was the writing that came over me so I leave it to you guys to read my probably not very good poem.

There is a wish inside of us that everything will be OK.

I know I didn't finish it the way I should have! I just can't write anymore because I want to go to bed. So I can get some sleep for tomorrow (probably we'll have a test in french so wish me luck!) unlike the rest of the week when I have slept way to less!! 

While writing it I was listening to Little Dancer by Elton John. I'm just getting too obsessed with songs today! I've been singing Our last summer the whole day! 

I saw Mamma Mia again and since then I can't stop thinking about  that song. I don't know why maybe because of the word summer that is repeated all the time. 

Frankly I'm obsessed with the words summer, sun, sand, sea, hot and summer break (includes summer so of course I'm obsessed with that word too!). Anyway I added the song so you can listen to it if you don't already know it what would be like living in Germany without freezing in winter ( you can't avoid it whether you wear a lot of jumpers or not! Some day you wake up and just forget that it's winter and  you're late for school means you just put something on and don't really think about it. The result: You're  freezing the whole day through just because you didn't want to be late! There's only one reason why god has invented winter. Skiing!).

Get up everyone it's february! Soon spring will arrive I'll be able to get out everyday and take wonderful pictures and see the world!

Like usually I have to apologize for my absence. And like always I had a very good reason for not being blogging.  I always blog when I feel bad so now I actually feel bad. I wanna feel better so let's talk about seriously, really inspiring stuff. Stuff like movies. Like A single man. Whoever didn't see the movie should ran to the next video shop and get it! Seriously you have to see it. Two times at least. First time ordinary and second with Tom Fords comment on. It's amazing! Of course the clothes are awsome. You can't expect anything less than awesomeness in a movie that's been directed by Tom Ford. Especially the clothes have to freak you out.
I think most of the actors are models. They just look to good for not being models. Their bodies are just perfect. Take a look at Kenny's. He's tall, thin, has a beautiful face and a nice smile. You don't need anything more to be a model. And that girl next to him (he's girlfriend I believe) during all the scenes where she appears she just has that typical model face. This sexy acting of her mouth and her eyes.

Also Carlos! The cool guy in the clip. He's absolutly my taste although I had to learn guys like him don't fall in love with women. During the whole film the things George's attracted by flush into color while the rest of day the not important things stay grey and boring.
And also Carlos flushes, his lips, his face, everything. I love the way how Carlso moves it's this typical movement guys like carlos have. Tall, thin and unusually beautiful. They all have two more things in common these guys they have great style and don't seem to notice me. But probably it's just that they don't fall in love with women.
 Anyway let's analyse some more of the film. Like Kennys sweather! I absolutely love it. Tom Ford says they had to spray it with hairpray so it stayed fluffy.
What really is cool in the film or in generell at that time in the 60s is you were allowed to smoke everywhere. In class, bars… now I couldn't publish that very cool picture I took click here to see it in our school magazine. I wish I could live in the 60s with cool music, awesome clothes, old stuff and smoking without caring about ones and others health.

back for good

I am back! Back for good I think. I hope. I know I've been absent for a while. A big while actually I didn't even finish my Adventskalender. I'm really sorry about that but it happens all the time you forget to open the next door and sometimes you just forget to open the last two doors like I did. It feels good writing again. I've been sick the week after new year's and I didn't enjoy staying in bad while my brother and dad were skiing. Anyway I got my camera (OLYMPUS PEN E-P2) and I've already been out for taking pictures! I actually can't wait it gets dark later so I can go outside after school and practise. Right now I just can practise at the weekend.

Today was my first day back at school after holydays and I felt quite well. Probably just because French and Latin have been canceled.

SO I actually didn't want to write about my boring school stuff I wanted to write about this video I watched yesterday. I found it on the Sartorialist.

I', gonna post it on the bottom so first I can write about it. Of course you can fisrt watch it if you prefer.

I didn't know the appereance of the Sartorialist. I just call him the Sartorialist because I don't know his real name. (Maybe I'm going to do a little research on him later but I still have to do so much for school so I don't know whether I'll have time.)

You know he does fabulous photographs. I wish I could do that. And he doesn't look the way I have thought of him at all. He's different than all these other people who work in fashion industry. Maybe it's because he's a photographer so the man who takes the pictures of the crazy (not always but let's be honest most of them do look crazy) people. You don't know how he looks because he's the genius behind the camera like the woman in the video said. He really is genius. The photos look awesome and he walks 4 or 5 hours a day in the streets and takes pictures. I wish I had the time to do that. Well he gets paid because he has the website. But he didn't even want to be a photographer when he was young. And he just goes to the people and says: "Excuse me can I take a picture of you?" The woman asks: "What for?" And he answers he writes this website called the Sartorialist and then of course everyone knows who he is and lets him take his photo. And he doesn't has to be worried that people won't know his website because just EVERYBODY knows the Sartorialist.

Ok I think I'm getting a bit obsessed so I'm going to post here the video.

I wish I could take pictures like him. Or if I just could ask people let me take picture of them.

I'm not shy. Not anymore but it really is difficult just to take a picture of other people. They look at you and their face says "What the hell are you doing?". And that's without asking them if I can publish the pictures. Anyway I haven't taken any good pictures yet because you have to be really fast when you want to take one of a walking person. Maybe anyone here has any hints how I can try asking people if I can take a picture and publish it or just street fashion photography hints.

Feels good to write again.

Yes I know I forgot to write some of the last posts! But now I'll report again about those new cool things that happen in fashion. (new and cool, hahahaha) Well I was just reading an interview of Karl Lagerfeld by some magazine (called welt online so for the people who can read german and understand it they will find the original interview here) and I still think he is very strange. Though being strange is good in my opinion!

He says he isn't able to do anything. He doesn't even have his own house keys!

Once my dad also told me that Lagerfeld sold a house and then after moving into the house the buyer noticed the house had no kitchen! (Who doesn't notice a house has no kitchen when he buys it?!)

The fact was Lagerfeld didn't need a kitchen because he doesn't cook (probably he just goes out to eat in a restaurant everyday and night. At least I don't think he orders chinese…).

That's what my dad told me once so I don't know for sure if it's true but I really imagine Lagerfeld doesn't need a kitchen. A man who doesn't keep his own keys…

Anyway I think he's a real strange person for being 70 years old! I mean look at your grandma or your grandpa. Are they still working? Are they wearing suits by Dior in size 48/46? Maybe it's that his job is to do something creative. Not working as a teacher or a lawyer or a doctor or a mechanic or something else boring.

I hope I'm not insulting any people but I don't think this as interesting as being an artist. A Designer. A photographer. A musician. A writer. A Journalist.

Karl Lagerfeld seems interesting to me and I 'm sure when I got more time like in the holidays which start practically tomorrow because tomorrow's last day of fucking school (Don't get me wrong but you know what I mean…) I'll write more about him. But now I'm really tired and I have to get up early tomorrow thanks to fucking school.

What a day… I pissed off (question: Do you say it like that I just thought it sounds good but I have no idea if you can say that) my test and I don't want to go to that fashion drawing lesson I have today. Last time we had to use this copic markers and it looked terrible! Like some 3 years old kid's picture! I'm love just using a simple pencil. So what am I going to do now?! I feel better than yesterday but I'm still sick (especially sick of school and my life!)

But there are also good news like I have 3 more followers! That's great! Oh and something more's great! I see my Teen Vogue has arrived!!! And the first question comes up… Why the hell does Louis Vuitton advertise with a beach look?!

Almost everywhere, where fashion's important, is winter! I never understood why everyone just loves their classic Louis Vuitton printed bags… turns out I don't get the label at all! Althought Marc Jacobs is the chief designer… I think I'm just going to read the Magazine and relax… or no I forgot I'll have to clean up my room!

Okay so first I'm going to clean up my room (listen to some music while doing freaky dancing) then read Teen Vogue and then write an article for our school magazine and then work on my new film project I can't publish because it's all about our school (not exactly but anyway…) and my school mates are everywhere on the screen so I'd first have to ask them and that's the last thing I wanna do…

So the list with the things I'll do now:

1. Clean up my room (didn't do it in weeks so the time has come!)

2. Read Teen Vogue

3. Write the article for school magazine

4. Work on that cool project I'll never be able to publish

I still have no idea what to give to my family on christmas! And only 9 more days!! OMG

Door 14 of my online Adventskalender

I'm sick again. Yesterday I couldn't stop stop sneezing while I was writing yesterday's post. So today I'm staying home thought tomorrow's a test I have to write and my stuff is at school so I can't learn. Drinking tea and eating sweets in bed… I said I wish teh olympus camera. now I'm goung o tell you why. I was reading fashiontoast (I love the jewelry she always wears so take a look if you never have) this weeekend and I thought the camera she was holding in her hands was some old vintage thing. WWWRRROOONNNNGGG! It's an Olympus with this cute vintage looking, brown case.

Till I had found out that, it took me a little while. I already had thought of buying a new camera before because mine is so stupidly old. I got it for my first communion. The first 5 pictures I made with it still are on the camera. Now I want a SLR camera actually but I didn't know which to take so my dad told me (cause I wanted a camera that could also film in HD and make really good photos) about the Lumix GH-2. It's a wonderful camera with one little problem. It costs 1,500€!! Yeah I know other cameras are much more expensive then that but I can't afford a camera like that and I wouldn't get that camera for christmas.

So now I'm going to tell my father (there's a difference between dad and father. Father is my actual father and dad is my stepfather.) what I wish for christmas. MY OLYMPUS!

What a shame this brown leather case costs 80 € and the shoulder strap is 70 €!

With brown leather a silver camera would look so genius. I'm definitely taking it in silver cause it doesn't get so hot like black when the sun is shining. And believe it or not there've been days the sun was shining here in London the second also called Munich. But I definitely need something that doesn't get too hot. Most of the holidays I spend in warm locations with a lot of sun (like visiting every year my family in Spain or going scuba diving somewhere else). Only when I go skiing it's cold, logic isn't it?

Only ten days left. Sh*t I still have no presents! And I still haven't told my father what I want! Oh god I'm late with that again. It has to change next year! I think I'm having a deja-vu right now. I think have already said that once before. Like a year ago or something.

Don't you have the same feeling when it's christmas or your birthday? The feeling you don't have any idea what you actually want? Ihave it. Every single year. So it's tradition I tell week before christmas what I want. This year I wish myself a camera! An Olympus.

Right now I don't feel so well so I'm going to post more about the camera tomorrow. I'm sneezing and I can't stop!

I finally saw the Lanvin for H&M collection yesterday! I don't like that it's so expensive but what do you expect… It's LANVIN! In the store I went almost every dress was still there ( at least it seemed so cause there were a lot of dresses…). I don't think people here like the collection. I even heard a woman say those dresses were the ugliest thing she had ever seen.

Lucky me.

If noone buys those dresses hopefully they are going to put them on sale! And maybe it won't cost 200€ anymore but rather 100€. Or if I'm the most luckiest person in the world: less.

Please god let every body hate the collection and not buy it! PLEASE!!

I want to buy myself this next dress. You probably feel like a princess in this dress. Net week I'll have to go again to H&M and try it on. Yesterday I couldn't… I had to disappear before friend could ask me to stay and start an embarrassing conversation because she thinks I don't really like her… complicated life I know.

Good morning! What a wonderful day the saturday is! Listening to classik music like "Oh sole mio" and looking for pictures of Fleur Delacour's wedding dress. Yesterday I watched the movie and I totally loved it, the dress. The movie was good but like always the book is better. But this time the movie was really similar to the book which is good bcause I hate when in the end it's a totally different story. They didn't forget too much and they didn't bring much new stuff in. It's good they are making two parts. But I already want to see the next one!!

Back to the dress:

Isn't it beautiful? It is the fashion high point of the movie I think. The rest of the clothes are more casual (they have to sleep in a tent in winter so it's obviously they won't wear couture). Also the dress Hermione is wearing at the wedding isn't that especial.

It is pretty. It is simple and beautiful. I like it. But it isn't like the wedding dress. With the feathers and everyting. So beautiful that I had to look it up again in the internet. And what do I read? The costume designer Jany Temime has been accused to have stolen Alexander McQueens's dress!

But they really look similiar don't they?

The birds on McQueen's dress are peacocks. The ones on Fleur's dress are Phoenixes. I like that Fleur's dress hasn't that many feathers on the back but it's obviously a copy! The front with the birds is too similar.

But go see the movie the dress is worth a look!

John Lennon is being a great inspiration right now. Especially his smile and laughting (of course his music too but his music is always inspiraton) I have this movie of the Beatles "Hard Day's Night" which is so great! I absolutelly love it. The Beatles have to get to a filmstudio and you see the over crowded station where they get their car to get to the studio. Those screaming girls are incredible! It's like at the Avril Lavigne concert I went two years ago… the girls who looked like Avril ( exactly like her! If they would have gone backstage the security would have let them pass just like that.)

i wish it would have been a Beatles concert. I think I would have screamed like all the other girls in the film. After seeing it for the very first time I had crush on John Lennon (which I still have a bit. Think about it… on someone dead… someone who'd have had his 70th birthday this year. CRANC! I listened to this songs and of course I couldn't hold the tears back while listening to McCartny's tribute "Here Today".
